Many of you have been asking for information about Creepy Hollow #6, and I’ve been very vague with my answers! So I thought I’d explain a little bit …
I, unfortunately, am not a fast writer. I can’t get 4 or more books out in a year like some indie authors (although I wish I could!). So completing 2 full length novels last year (plus editing and producing second editions of books 1, 2 and 3 with new covers, and new covers for the Trouble series as well) took a lot out of me. There were many nights where I was writing until 2 or 3 am. Now I am NOT complaining about that. I LOVE what I do!! 😀 But I decided to take things a little slower this year and not commit to any release dates until I’m absolutely sure I can comfortably meet them. That’s why I keep giving vague answers like “in the next few months”!
Anyway, since you’ve all been waiting so patiently (or impatiently!), I thought I’d give you a sneak peek at the cover, just to keep you going until I can give you some more info!
I think your cover is going to be gorgeous. I understand about taking things easy. I didn’t think publishing a book could take so much out of someone until I had to do it. You are amazing. You get so much done, Rachel.

Thank you! Yeah, that’s the thing. It’s not just writing and editing the book. It’s EVERYTHING else! Building the marketing plan, booking adverts, creating promotional graphics, setting up preorders, tracking sales data, answering emails and messages … etc, etc, etc … And I love doing all of it, but it takes a lot of time!
I like the waves! Will be very cool.
No worries. I do good to write a book every eighteen months.

Take your time and do it to your satisfaction. I wouldn’t want you to publish any thing less than the previous 5 books you have given us. I love your characters and your stories, with all the twists and turns, they leave me breathless. I found your writing quite by accident but I devoured all 5 of them in less than a week. I will be awaiting #6 with the greatest anticipation.

Oh I absolutely love love love your books. Now I’m no book expert but I love to read – it’s my haven in a way and I’ve read enough to know what is a good read and your work is excellent. I accidentally came across creepy hollows series and couldn’t stop. I’ve now read through all five in less than a week and was so thrilled to find out there was a sixth coming soon (I hope). I wait eagerly for it. In the meantime I looked up all your other books and am trying to pace myself with the trouble series so I don’t run out of your books because I miss them when they end and want more more more. Yeah, I’m addicted to your books now and loving it. I’m so so so glad I came across your work, it’s fantastic, excellent!! Thank you so much for taking the time to write something that not only captured my heart and captivated my mind but also brought some light into my life and a smile to my face during a very difficult and trying time. Rachel thanks for the mailing list info. I just joined. I also just now finished book 6. I will be waiting for book 7. I would say patiently but my husband will tell you that’s not possible. However I have loved the books so take all the time you need to produce a book as wonderful as the last six.

I feel exactly the same way as Ru. I found the Sleepy Hallow books on Amazon. I downloaded all 5 and fell totally in Love, with the characters, the world, the magic, just everything. I’m an avid reader, that’s pretty much all I do, I’m disabled, so I can’t do too much else. Anyway, Thank You for the wonderful books! I’m very much looking forward to book #6 I just realized it would be out relatively soon. ?
